Place the breadcrumbs in a small bowl with 1/4 cup of water and stand for several minutes. Squeeze the breadcrumbs to remove the excess water. Place the breadcrumbs, walnuts, garlic cloves, olive oil and vinegar in the bowl of a food processor. Add 2-3 tablespoons of cold water and purÄe. Season with salt and pepper.
